People’s Question Time, Hillingdon
People’s Question Time comes to Hillingdon at The Beck Theatre, Grange Road, Hayes, Middlesex on Thursday 26 November from 7-9pm.
This twice yearly session gives Londoners the chance to question the Mayor and the London Assembly and find out about their plans and priorities for the city.
Dr Onkar Sahota, the London Assembly Member for Ealing and Hillingdon will chair. Topics up for discussion include:
- Growing London’s economy
- Policing and community safety
People’s Question Time has the following access provisions. Please choose what you require when booking tickets and make yourself known at the enquiries desk once you arrive.
- BSL interpretation
- Hearing loop
- Speech to text on large screen (palantype)
- Wheelchair access
- Braille programme
On the night
Please be aware that admission is on a first come first served basis and a ticket does not guarantee you a seat.
Arrive early to ensure entry.
- 6:00pm - Doors open
- 7:00pm - Event begins
- 9:00pm - Event closes
From 6:45 to 7pm doors will open to people who have not booked tickets in advance. Entry will depend on space. Priority will be given to those with tickets.
Please print and bring with you, or have them ready to display on your phone at the door.
People’s Question Time is a twice yearly Q&A session where Londoners can question the Mayor and London Assembly. If chosen by the chair, you’ll be able to ask your question for the panel to respond. If you want to ask a question, please do so during the relevant topic session. Please respect the chair’s direction by keeping all questions as brief and to the point as possible.
People's Question Time will take place at The Beck Theatre, Grange Road, Hayes, Middlesex, UB3 2UE
The Beck Theatre is situated on Grange Road just south of the A4020 Uxbridge Road which runs from Shepherds Bush to Uxbridge.
M4 junction 3 exit then follow the Hayes by-pass to the A4020 Uxbridge Road turning left at Lombardy Retail Park. Follow the Uxbridge Road west towards Uxbridge and turn left at the Grange Road traffic lights.
There is a free car park at the theatre.
National Rail London Paddington to Hayes & Harlington station, then buses 90, H98 or 195 to Uxbridge County Court, which is next to the theatre.
Alternatively, Metropolitan or Piccadilly lines to Uxbridge Underground station, then buses 427 or 607
