Cerebos Gardens Community Co-design project drop-in event, NW10
Please drop-in anytime to The Gallery at The Collective (NW10 6FF) between 6.30pm to 8.00pm on Thursday 20 February to find out more about the proposals, share your views and give us your feedback.
Working with the community, we’ve appointed Hayatsu Architects as the lead consultants to undertake a co-design exercise with the community. This work will enable applications for capital funding to be made, so that the designs can be carried-out. The architects were selected due to their extensive experience in designing parks and open spaces in collaboration with local communities.
If you’re a local resident, visit the gardens to use the playground or work in the area, please come and join us to formally kick-start the project and play a key role in helping us to:
- gather ideas for the gardens and opinions on design opportunities
- find out what type of involvement you want in the project, this could be as a member of the community design team meetings or simply wanting to be informed in the process
Hayatsu Architects will be sharing some initial design options using an interactive model and we hope you will be able join us to experiment with the model of the gardens and chat to the architects, other community members and the OPDC team about the vision for the gardens.
If you would like to be involved but can’t attend the drop-in, please contact: [email protected]
The Cerebos Gardens co-design project is part of OPDC’s In the Making initiative to deliver creative projects and activities that benefit the local communities and enhance the sense of place across Old Oak and Park Royal over the next five years.
