I am a longstanding of 12 years NHS GP Receptionist Administrator working for a doctors surgery.
I want to know from The Mayor of London why are hardworking, dedicated loyal GP staff not heard, acknowledged nor respected in the professional when given it comes to receiving our yearly April pay increase from NHS England we are either denied by gps not wanting to give to us and they do mot want to give us the minimum wage as they feel because they are doctors they have this superiority over their staff behind closed doors, we are being taken for granted, intimidated and belittled for so many years by gp's despite staff continuing to stay in a job they love doing caring for their community.
GP Staff have had enough of the constant injustice of this modern slavery which we have to face on a daily basis from deceitful employers, so this is why I am writing to you to desperately ask for The Mayor's to step in and give us a platform to be heard and acknowledged and respected as without the gp staff their be no Surgeries and the public will have no medical attention.
Like a gp staff, consultant or a Nurse we are all aiming for the same, to save lives! We have medical qualifications, certificates and continue to have training as theres always something new to learn in the nhs profession and this should be considered as progression which entails a rightful increase in pay which means for The Mayor to inform NHS England to instruct all Doctors in London areas to give gp staff the minimum wage as mentioned on the News, we want a platform and the same respect as others in the profession.
End Modern Slavery for GP Staff! We want democracy.
