Its clear that MPs on all sides of the fences are saying anything to outsmart the public when it comes to the Brexit deal. Who do we believe?
The truth is that we really did prosper with our strong relationship with the EU. When it come to Sovereignty well, who does not like the idea of complete self rule? Yet, in reality it should not really matter who in authority makes the rules as long as they are just to the UK and her citizens, indeed, can our own MPs really be fairer more trustworthy when it comes to applying self rule? Prior to the referendum the British public strongly and wrongly had the illusion that we the general public would have the authority to change and apply all the rules in order to suit the UK, personally I think most people got carried away.
There were of course a few minor issues with the EU rules that should had been addressed for improvement sake in order to benefit all EU country members, we certainly would not be in this mess now.
It is very clear that the majority of elderly people voted to leave only because of feelings of nostalgia and these nostalgia feelings had been fed to their families, but the realities of nostalgia are not always good. The realities of Britain prior of the EU are not good.
If the UK ever recovers and prospers again then it would be probably in another century under different circumstances, all very irrelevant to us all.
