Mayor Khan has said that he wants to build 1500 homes on the tunneling site at Limmo Peninsula. Of these 600 will be "genuinely affordable". By my reckoning that means he wants to build 900 UNAFFORDABLE homes on public land. Should he be allowed to do this or should 100% of the 1500 be affordable or preferably 100% Council owned for rent to Londoners who work in the public service eg nurses, police, fire, council etc.?
