The London Living Rent (LLR) is not working in Central London. In wards where incomes are high, people on lower and middle incomes are being priced out. The percentage of Market Rent model, or Affordable Housing, even though it is unreasonable for lower and middle earners in these areas, is lower than the LLR. The LLR is effectively pushing ordinary people out of Central London or any better-off area. It should be rejigged completely as a formula or a percentage of the LLR be charged in inner London areas rather than these parts becoming totally exclusive to all but the super rich.
