Council flats in Aylesbury estate almost extinct because the land as being sold to developers who called them self housing association , really what is housing association who benefits from this sales? and after sales ? I am sure not the government but the cronies to the council and developers, and who approved the sales. I have lived in Southwark council for more than 20 years I know what I am talking about, I am still on the waiting list for rehousing over 5 years because the council could not manager Southwark council property properly. Because they have being sold off not for profit but to cronies, if for profit what did they do with the money? Because the council as not build houses to match what they have sold facts. If you live in Aylesbury estate I guarantee you you cannot afford the new homes , now called housing association if you have the right to buy is worthless, because the average price is Over £500,000.00 for one and two bedrooms flat.
