Erykah Badu headlines Field Day music festival
Erykah Badu is undoubtedly one of the world’s most celebrated contemporary artists, and her headline performance on Friday 1st June in Brockwell Park will be an emotional foray into her soulful musical talent. The Grammy-winning soul singer is one of the most celebrated performers of the modern era since her seminal debut album Baduizm earned her legions of loyal fans, sold millions of copies – and in 2017 celebrated its 20th anniversary.
For over a decade Field Day has consistently proved itself to be one of the UK’s leading festivals. Exceptional programming has seen the best in upcoming and iconic artists including Aphex Twin, PJ Harvey, Caribou, Skepta, Patti Smith and Pixies grace the event’s stages in Victoria Park for 11 years.
2017 Surpassed all expectations with an incredible music line-up, a new mammoth stage - The Barn - and a mouth-watering food and drink offering curated by London street food legends Street Feast and Venn Street Market. Now, coming to the end of one of its most successful years to date, Field Day and friends are carrying the torch to South London’s Brockwell Park for an exciting new chapter.
