Our Time - Supporting Future Leaders

London is one of the most diverse and inclusive cities in the world. Despite this, gender inequality remains an issue - particularly in the workplace. Women in London are paid less and are underrepresented in senior roles across London's public, private and third sectors.

In 2018, it's an unacceptable situation. Talented women are being held back and it's to the detriment of us all. The evidence shows companies with more women in leadership positions are more profitable and perform better.

In short, we need more women leading London to make our city a success.

Our Time is seizing the moment to tackle gender inequality in the workplace and break down the social and cultural barriers that prevent women from reaching the top.

The initiative is part of the Mayor's #BehindEveryGreatCity campaign to tackle gender inequality in London.

What is Our Time?

Our Time will pair high potential women with senior management level champions, either male or female, who will help to open up the professional networks, opportunities and contacts often needed to progress within workplaces.
