Tree Celebration Event at Railway Fields
This event is organised by The Conservation Volunteers (TCV)
Join us to celebrate the importance of trees at Railway Fields Tree Celebration Day! We have activities for adults and children from arts and crafts to tree ecology. We will be planting trees with the Haringey Conservation Volunteers from 10.30 - 2.00, and giving away tree whips all day. In addition, there will be:
- tree dressing
- tree trails for adults or children
- guided tree walks focusing on the ecology and folklore of the special trees at Railway Fields
- 'forest bathing' sessions to have a moment with the peace of trees accompanied by some Japanese tea
- willow lantern craft sessions which will be used to light the way for the dark forest walk.
So come and get involved with all things trees!
