Tree Giveaway at Greenwich Ecology Park

This event is organised by The Conservation Volunteers (TCV)


In partnership with the Mayor of London, TCV will be giving away individual or pairs of FREE trees during National Tree Week for Londoners to plant. Species include; Bird Cherry, Field Maple and Rowan / Mountain Ash.

Join us for our Wild Winter Fayre, where there will be lots of activities for all the family:

  • Make and decorate a willow wreath
  • Gifts, books and tombola
  • Wintery wildlife trails
  • Winter warmer refreshments and barbecue

Finding the Event

From North Greenwich tube station: take a bus (route 108, 129, 132, 161, 188, 472, or 486) towards the Millennium Village. Alight the bus at Millennium Village Oval Square. Take the footpath on your left just past the bus stop into a green area, which joins a boardwalk. Go through the gate, along the boardwalk, and through the next gate and you will see the gatehouse.
