Young Digital Talent

About the Digital Talent programme

London has a growing digital skills shortage. The capital’s booming digital, creative and technology sectors have driven huge demand for digitally-skilled talent that is ready for the workplace.

That’s why the Mayor is funding digital skills training, through a £7m Digital Talent programme that will inspire and prepare more young Londoners to fill these roles, and improve the pool of talent available to employers.

The programme aims to increase the volume and quality of training in digital technology by funding new industry-approved courses for young people, ensuring that they have the skills that employers are looking for.  It includes a focus on attracting more young women and Londoners from a range of backgrounds to work in the sector.

What does it offer?

The Digital Talent Programme provides the following:

  • free digital skills training courses and support for 16-24 year-olds. Find out about Digital Talent courses
